What is Heart Light Studios?

This site is dedicated to my only Son, Kelly James Carmody who died in 1987 of a malignant brain tumor.  Since that day I have dedicated my life to serving the bereaved. This site was  created for those whom may find comfort from my book, my writings  my portraits, drawings, and or prints and photos.

It is also a place for processing your grief, asking questions about the journey, or just writing about your loved one, sharing their life and your loss.

I welcome all comments via my email address heartlightstudios@gmail. com.  I am always am available for questions, and sharing of your  bereavement journey. We need not walk alone.

It has been becoming an intentional survivor  and serving the bereaved which has created this new edition of  Letters to My Son. It is truly a continuing legacy for my son Kelly who has now been gone from my arms since 1987.

Still partners across the veil we want to make a difference for  others who grieving the loss of  a loved one in their lives. There is life after death on BOTH sides of the equation; we can survive and even thrive after a significant loss in our lives, and we do it together. Believe.
